At the tournament
First of all, I decided to start a new blog! My old one wasn't letting me upload photos and I have so much to share!
This past weekend my hubby had a Jui Jitsu tournament in Bedford, Tx (near Dallas) so we made a mini vacation of it! Friday we checked into our hotel and then headed next door to Pappadeaux (aka the best place ever). We had lunch and then decided to swim for an hour or two before Bobby had to go weigh in. After he weighed in we met up with some friends and headed over to Grapevine Mills to eat at Rainforest Cafe (aka the second best place ever). Addy and Trinity had never been so I was thrilled to get to take them for the first time. The pictures will explain their reactions lol! Saturday we got up, had breakfast, and headed over to the tournament where in a few hours, Addy would have several meltdowns and Mommy would have high blood pressure. People come to this thing from all over the US so there were sooo many people and Addy was not having it at all! Anyway, Hubby ended up placing second in one division, but not the in other. I am so proud of him. He did so good! All of the guys from his gym placed, so now the gym will be nationally ranked! So awesome! After the tournament we headed over to Six Flags (the kids had never been there before either) and had a blast! Well most of the time anyway. Trinity decided that she was a big girl and wanted to ride the Superman. Let's just say the poor girl is probably scarred for life. Can't say I didn't warn her though. It was AWFUL and the funniest thing ever watching her reaction on this ride. Six flags took up the rest of the day Saturday and Sunday we had breakfast and headed home. On the way back, we did stop at a lake and swam for bit. All in ALL, it was a GREAT weekend!!!
